Im not convinced but hope it goes ahead im looking forward to it & this rains putting a mockers on it :rolleyes:

Even the best of pitches will be under pressure never mind our newly laid one! My garden used to mirror the old pitch & thats under water in some parts this morning :eek:

Fill a few bottles from any standing puddles and sell em at half time as Newcastle Brown. By then they won't know the difference.

pitch looked good this afternoon,might be advantage the reds if its a bit wet ya know these prem players dont enjoy getting dirty and i have turned off the water to the showers in the away dressing room (only kidding).

They'll probably arrive in their kit, and leave in their kit (if the coach driver will let them on with muddy boots, that is) ;)

Just been up to the ground pitch LOOKING GREAT! so I'm well excited and a definate buzz about the place, club shop gearing up nicely and everything going well so far :D

Can't wait - bring on the toon!

Liverpool arrived and left in their kit a couple years ago.
I'm certain it's not a north / south thing, the problem lies in the premier league, they're all a bunch of big girls blouses. :D

And SM !..Fred. that well-known Weather Pundit on Granada News also sounded quite hopeful regarding the chances of LESS rainfall in our area !.

Given a couple of faults, gotta say in my opinion the pitch looks better n ive ever seen it.:)
