I can't tell the difference between the sound of a vuvuzela and statements made by Dave O'Neil - both are meaningless.

[quote=yonmon;830076]Without wanting to sound too political Shaker (?)....Perhaps 'THE BIG SOCIETY '.....will allow all that your post hopes for ??...even to the sounding of Vulvazulus by misguided souls whenever the mood takes them !!.....
Maybe the hoped-for New Body of Directors will issue a directive as to the allowing of this at The Crown ??..or not !
Like the cat that ate Gorgonzola and blew into the Mousehole.....one waits with baited breath !!.

From those softies at Shrewsbury Town 29th July !!

Mr PARRY...CEO..says
-After discussing the issue of Vulvazulus at the club and with a number of organisations who have input into the Safety Advisory committee it has been agreed that Vulvazulus will not be allowed into the Greenhouse at Gay Meadow.
The discussion has been reached on a number of points which included:-
They have the potential to breach acceptable noise levels
They vary in size, materials and structure so it is hard to police which Vulvazulu would or would not be acceptable........

What sort of trivialities are these ??.

So I've retrieved my Papier-mache and patented 'Silent Vulvazulu' from the bin..and painted it a bright Red !!...
Nothing much to listen to..but a pretty sight !.

Not quite! They're not growing tomatoes there yet. This year's name for the ground is the Greenhous Meadow, after a ground sponsorship deal with local car dealers, the Greenhous Group.

As for 'vulvazulu', the mind boggles... :o

Re: Vuvu horn

Could I make one simple prediction about these things?

Many clubs -if not the majority - have already banned them. All will have banned them within a few weeks of the start of the season for the simple reason that they will cause so much aggro amongst fans that the sensible majority of them, togeather with the cops and stewards, will get them banned.

So don't bother buying one in the first place.

I welcome, and will act upon your advice T....and bury
my Vulvazulu fixation once and for all !!...
