As for Yonmon, are you sure it's really Yonmon?....or could it be..."Donmon"??!! (cue: Outer Limits theme).

Now that is subtle Wyn !!...Cutting, yet subtle !!...
Incidentally THIS is a description of DONMON !!..:-
Donmon is a dragon-like creature with retractable wings that extend out to either side, who, when standing on his hind legs, comes to the height of a Man's shoulder. He is red, and his stomach, lines down the either side of his head, lines across his arms and legs and his tail are orange. He usually stands on his hind legs, although varies depending on what pose is most suitable for movement.

Now I am worried !!.

Keep those Vulvazulus coming !!

Season Tickets will be available for collection in the Crown Ground Conference and Hospitality Suite from 5pm-8pm, with members of Management and Staff on hand to answer questions about the latest goings on at the Crown Ground...

And We'll be there too !!.....

It's what was formerly known at the Buy The House Lounge.

Didn't Buy the House get in to financial difficulty and withdraw sponsorship, hence the new name

Just received an email regarding the season ticket collection event, addressed to :

Dear (Fname)

Nice personal touch eh?

If they weren't going to be bothered filling in the names, why not just address them 'Dear Season Ticket Holder'

Gripe over :)

Not so much bothering to fill in the names but the mail merge hasn't worked properly. The perils of automation :D

Glad your recieving communication from the club and it is working. This particular email shot was put together and dispatched to help suppliment the letter drop that you will be recieving in the next day or so.

The guys have been working hard to make sure the information regarding the event gets to you in good time. Unfortunately the HTML code used for the email did not pick up the saturation (first name) so it will show as [fname] rather than the real name.

This is an error on the system not on your email. We are sorry if this causes offence. Subsequent emails will have the saturation dropped from the title.

Accymad might have a point but don't worry about Cashman, some of the names I have to replace fname wouldn't even get past the spell checker :D

One of the problems for old fogies like me is that computer jargon looks like English, even sometimes sounds like English, but means absolutely nothing. On the other hand ...

...we know that "recieving" and "suppliment" do not look like English.

Spellchecker not available?
