Fair enough reading back into the post maybe you wasnt referring to yourself, so for that i apologise.

However the people that sing and shout about Eric Whalley have the right to shout/sing negative or positive things about the man if they wish. They have rightfully payed their money so in theory can say what they like.

However Ew brought us to the football league like promised and also led us to other promotions, he built the start of the rising to the football league and has put money, time and effort into building Accrington Stanley. However bad he may have done i still think (MYSELF) that Eric Whalley is a man who should always be remembered for what good he did to the club!!

Yes we had the debt but how do you know it was SOLEY down to him! He took the club on and ventured with it when no-one else wanted it!!!!!!!

Yes we had this debt but so does every club in the country, Erics money ran dry and maybe if we had more fans, better facilities etc then we could create better income!!!

So if we are slateing Eric Whalley, then we better slate the town of Accrington and also the Council!

I know hes done bad in the past , very bad things. But we all can have our own opinions and because of the great positive things he has done at the club he should be recognised as someone who achieved something! And not someone who put us in debt!!! Weve got over the debt so thats move on i say!

The next person to take the club on is now the DON , lets see how this man does in another chapter of Stanleys history!

As i say it wasn't eric - it was our super management duo and our squad that has given stanley success NOT eric!

I give up! You STILL don't get it do you?! Please do yourself a favour and go back to the beginning of the thread and READ the posts, don't just pick bits out of individual posts and then I would ask you to sit down and think about your answers. I don't mean to be condescending but you and others who have posted on this topic do seem only to pick out certain parts of the post and ignore the whole picture!

if ya think stating unpalatable facts to some people is moaning, thats your perogative, just because some don't like it, its moaning? many folk dug deep to help the club n are being treated like crap, by a bunch of liars, well some are not prepared to stay silent, like it or lump it.:(

Doesnt annoy me. Forum lovers easily get annoyed when someone disagrees with them. And wow do they bite trying to justify spending all there spare time on a little forum were most people that matter dont even care about.

I thought the so called leader of the Ultra's hated proffessional football and everything that went with the pompus world. Don't Bigger grounds hint at the world of football you so hate. Make you minds up KIDS!!!

The ultras sang his name maybe because they are happy to be in the football league and travel to the "bigger better grounds as he got us here."

There's enough conflict behind the scenes of the club without them & us camps arising within the terraces. It saddens me to see my righteous brothers and sisters bickering. Ne'er will there be a time when someone can say, "all Stanley fans think this", or "all Stanley fans think that". We're a group of just over a thousand people. Different people. Wonderful people. We are a group of lost souls who all happen to have been drawn with a lasting infatuation to the runt of the footballing litter. We don't have to decide upon whomever we all love or whomever we all loathe. Let us just revel in the ever-so-slightly homosexual bond that brings us all together. You sing what you want, I'll sing what I want. I'm safe in the knowledge that the times when those songs are the same will be more frequent than the times when they differ.
