Hello, friendly Oxford fan here.

I just wanted to say I cannot wait for Saturday 28th August.


I don't know if i'm speaking on behalf of the other Oxford fans, but I cannot wait to play the only team we've never played who are part of the 92 league teams.

Must say I couldn't visit the Manor Ground when I was at Oxford (1978-1981) without thinking that I was visiting somewhere that should be Peel Park the spiritual home of Accrington Stanley.

It will be good to be able to re - visit Oxford in the knowledge that we are both in our rightful places at the same time.
