looking at the fixtures and it says we play Blackburn X1 on sat 31 kick off 1930 at home

Yes but on BBC ceefax it says a Blackburn 1X, who knows?

Classic Stanley. This has been puzzled over on this and another thread since yesterday. It's probably some sort of error by the BBC, but as we're aware, the club read Accyweb regularly so I'm sure someone must have seen the posts about it.

Don't you think then, that they might have the gumption to put a little news item on t'fishy site clearing things up? A minor quibble, but it speaks volumes to me about the attitudes that prevail at the club. :rolleyes:

Amongst other things the cheerleader ad. is a tad late and it appears to be for only one event - "the Reds'
season opener on 7th August vs Aldershot" Ooops, sorry - 2 for the price of one lol.

They are looking for an established group but biggest problem they will have is most of them are on a break for the holidays.

They used to have their own cheerleaders didn't they ?
