Anybody know how much money the club won by progressing to the next round of the Carling Cup.

Not alot considering the Tournament winners only recieve £100,000.

Its all about the TV money and ticket sales that rake in the extra cash.
Looking at the Newcastle game its worth at least £80k in ticket sales alone, plus the TV money at around 100k+.

Will go a LONG way to clearing any more debts I hope.

We get 45% of the gate money after all sorts of expenses (incl the cost of clearing snow, provided we've told Newcastle about it first!); can't find out how the TV money divides ...........

:)

Don't worry, I never have done. I'm just saying that's a figure that has been suggested. I very much doubt we're going to be on the front page of the Financial Times "Stanley Get £160,734.87 Carling Cup Cash".
