Chris Hughton insists he will take the flak if his Newcastle United side lose the Carling Cup tie at Accrington Stanley on Wednesday.

Hughton will ring the changes and will put out a near-second string team for the second-round tie at the Crown Ground tomorrow night.
Tim Krul is certain to start in goal, while the likes of Haris Vuckic, Ryan Donaldson and Kazenga LuaLua are also vying for starts.
Chris Hughton: "I'll make a lot of changes.
"And it'll be a young team that goes to Accrington.
"It'll be a nice opportunity for them. I'm talking about the likes of Haris Vuckic, Ryan Donaldson and Kazenga LuaLua.
"It'll be a very changed team. As I say, it'll be a changed side, and I don't mind that going out. It's quite important that the fans know that.
"It's a great opportunity for the young players here that we have hopes for – it's very much the development squad."

Not Carling but former adversaries Telford may be on their way back. They are top of Conference North with a 100% record, having won all 4 games, scoring 13 without conceding!

true, I was suprised he wasn't starting last night too. I can see him ging out on loan in Jan if he doesn't get many opportunities
