O'Neil not resigned?

"I haven't resigned and i will make a statement soon" Taken from the Observer.

Although further down the article it says Ilyas wants to thank Dave and Eric for what they have done for the club and he still hopes O'Neil stays on the board.

Discuss...

Just guess work on the paper front I've been told that a statement by the club will be released end of this week - although had been over shadowed by recent the incident of last night.

From what i have been told, this is a very touchy subject at the moment and this will be dragging on this season and actions OFF the pitch will be getting very ugly :( between the top brass involved.

lets just hope they boys on the pitch show them what Accrington Stanley is all about

DAV, Ilyas has stated on this forum that he hopes Dave O'Niell will stay on as a director of the club. So in effect, this means that he has as much right to be at the club as other directors. As for the cardboard one, I like many others on this forum would love to see the back of him once and for all.

i know, we should respect Iylas wishes.

Lets wait for the big announcement at the end of the week, I suspect there is a strategic game of 'save face' going on in the background.

at least your more polite than the idiot who wrote the piece in the Observer who most ignorantly called all intested parties by their surnames only. So Ilyas was constantly refered to as Khan etc. "Written" by some infant who identified himself as dany something or other.Probably has a wet nurse called Jaqui.

Dany is a girl!, and she is quite a good Journo. Also it's common practice in this country to refer to people by their surname, in articles.

not truely related but i have an absoluted hatred of people who use surnames only. i had a boss who did it and i told him straight the first time he did it that i was called "ian" and if he didnt call me that in future i would ignore him till he did.

he still calls everyone else by surname but i am always "Ian" :D
