Accrington (not Stanley) FC
 

Hi, I am working on a book project celebrating 125 years of English Football League. The first part covers first 30 clubs that appeared in the League and of course Accrington was a founder member.
Problem is, not much info about the original club seems to be in public domain.
I am seeking players names who played in the League, together with any photos of same. Also seeking a picture of stadium they played in 1888-1892, or a photo of what is on site today.

There was an appeal similar t this on this site a few months ago from a Swedish (?) cchap researching the original clubs. Quite a lot of advice given then as to sources.
