Wycombe Wanderers Match !!.
Tip-toeing onto the more serious side of our Forum, I thought that I'd attempt to start today's Match Thread by posting Gary Waddock's pre-match considerations !, and here they are ....
A victory at the Crown Ground on Saturday won't be enough to put the Chairboys on top this time round, but a win will keep them in touching distance of the summit. However, Gary Waddock admits that the trip to Lancashire won't be easy: "Accrington have started the season very well," he warned . "John Coleman has done an excellent job over the years, he's made sure they've progressed every season and he's put a good group of players together. "It's going to be difficult, we know that - it's a difficult place to go at the best of times - but we're going up there in a positive frame of mind." The weather is set fair, Ilyas's Pitch is nearing 'Billiard-table' perfection, and we all know that JC and JB will be waiting to sit all over the Chairboys, and allow nothing to cushion the resulting blow !.. Bring it on Reds....have a good day all !!. |
Re: Wycombe Wanderers Match !!.
Tough game coming up. I can see Wycombe being right up there in the mix at the end of the season. It'll be close but Stanley can and will nick this by the odd goal, possibly a 1 niller. With Torquay away next week looking a real test, 3 points today will really mean a great start to the campaign.
