Left just after half time ( lightweight I know) was 4-1 to the Stanley Boys, 1st was a wonder strike by the number 11, might be some relation of mine , sure I heard the name Turner!!! ( sorry Kim and Micheal) as the ball flew into the top corner from 20+ yeards!!

I'll update later, as and when I hear more news;)

:) Heard it finished 4 - 3 in the end with goals from peter murphy got 2 chris turner 1 an leam richardson 1, nice to see the winning mentality carrying on in the reserves:Dwell done lads

It very nearly ended up 4-4 :eek: but for a timley clearance in the last seconds of added time!!

First half we were all over them, but I got the impresssion that we thought the game was won by half time and took our mind off the game................still a deserved win tho, and quite enjoyable to watch as well :)

Didnt want to start a new thread, reservers won last night 2-1 agaisnt morecambe, goals from boulding and turner :D, We have two trailists which are gary Mackay-Steven and Phil Ojapah,

Gary Mackay-Steven ... looks like our main Scout is the Liverpool physio! Very promising young Liverpool player whose injuries stopped him breaking into the first team. Sound familiar? :rolleyes:
