Jimmy Ryan "Unsung Hero"

I agree entirely with Jimmy Bell's comments. Jimmy always gives 100%, he'a like a terrier, he never backs down. I was absolutely made up when he remained at the club after the summer break. Keep it up Jimmy!

Re: Jimmy Ryan "Unsung Hero"

Jimmy has far more to his game than being a terrier or comabative midfield player his game offers so much more.

Jimmy Ryan is back to where he was in his first season with us, he is the hertbeat of the side with his defence splitting passes, his forty yard crossfield passes or be it the exocet shots that sooner or later are going to start hitting the back of the net.

He is an exciting player to watch for us fans, I think he amongst many has also benefitted from Stanleys new formation.:)

Agreed! He and Phil Edwards are definately capable of playing at a higher level and I am amazed (but pleased) they are not doing so yet.

Who knows ? Maybe next season they will get the opportunity to prove it!! ;-)

I agree with everyones comments on here, he rarely (if ever) puts a foot wrong, always has a great 1st touch, never shirks from a tackle and is always looking to attack the opposition.

He skill on the ball is fantastic as well which is why i`m pushing to get him a new nickname ......... Jimmy "The Brazilian" Ryan.

Lets face it he plays like one !! The mans a legend !

I just hope we can keep him at the Crown Ground for many seasons to come.

I'm with you Boomer - with Jimmy,Phil and the rest of the team playing so well, including an inspired Ian Dunbavin, who have the team got to fear?
I say not one team should be feared, Accrington Stanley can go far with the dynamic duo at the helm and long may it continue. Good luck to all for tomorrow
