Good work Dan, I'm going to be tuning in from the train down to London Euston. Winner of the weirdest location to listen to Stanley ?

Re: Port Vale match thread
Not the best game ever. But marc Richards was the difference, he ran the game in the 1st half and scored a beauty. Though we did dominate possession we lacked that cutting edge up front. Gutted to lose the unbeaten record but they will be fired up for tuesday night now. Wouldn't surprise me if port vale go up, but they are far from a great side.
|
Re: Port Vale match thread
symesy only took 1 pen for us and scored it, a 2-1 defeat at home to hereford at the end of last season. remember it well.
|
Re: Port Vale match thread
3 starts 2 goals symesy.
|
Re: Port Vale match thread
My good man, I think that you are Symesy in disguise... You are correct and I was not, though I would have put good money on him having missed it, I am sure I saw him miss... :clown: :alc: :alc: :)

Re: Port Vale match thread
A disappointing trip today. Too many poor performances especially going forward with the exception of Ryan who gave 100 per cent. We had chances in front of goal but they werent taken and certain players looked weak and afraid to make a challenge. Hope things improve for tuesday.

couldnae resist target man lol
|
Re: Port Vale match thread
he only ever took just the one pen and scored, because phil always took them and scored, except for the one at notts county which schmichael saved from phil.but we won 2-1 anyway with goals from symes and ryan at county, the only team to beat them there last season, if only we had this defence last season, great start lads long way to go,
