I am not an expert on ground playing surfaces, but the pitch looked quite good at the last home game. Congrats to the ground staff

it's just further proof of the inability of the club to do anything on time. It wouldn't suprise me if Ilyas had to in home and file the inclusion himself

Re: Are times changing?
The club may get around to updating the fishy site too where you find the following under Club Details! The current appointed directors as at 20th August 2010 are: David O’Neill appointed 02/12/2009 Peter Marsden appointed 21/05/2009 :o |

Pete that’s the first sensible thing I’ve heard in respect of the share issue and I agree that it’s an idea that should be supported; having said that the value wouldn’t be that great. Nice Tat by the way.....hope it hurt as much as looks....but worth every bit of it. Respect. :) |

Re: Are times changing?
Great idea in theory but wasn't the actual 'investment' hidden. I mean, wasn't it camoflaged amongst the free tickets, unique shirt etc.
|
Re: Are times changing?
yes it was, but it was still sold as a share, and 11 months on those people are still not registered as shareholders. That is a scam in my book. Much like the legends package that has still not yielded a single legends event or raffle or draw or any of the other listed 'benefits'
|
Re: Are times changing?
Difficult subject matter this one are people saying that those who have bought the "Shares Packages" are not actual shareholders or registered shareholders?
Where did these shares appear from in the first place that were offered? |

"It isn't something that is specifically aimed at paying off the revenue bill, although early sales will certainly help, but more of a longer term income generator as we move on from the problems of the last few weeks and months and continue with our plans to take the club forward." I don't know whether to laugh hysterically or cry! |

Re: Are times changing?
Like other twice-bitten sceptics, I too suspected the 'share offer' was a con from the beginning, just a way by which DonGon could sell what few shares he may have had in order to raise £250K to buy out the Cardboard Millionaire.
Still, unlike Rovers, we haven't been sold out for a poultry sum. |

Reds take a slight step forward one year on (From Lancashire Telegraph)
But then again, some things never seem to change. I hate to mention it this early in the year but Xmess is coming up: couldn't someone buy a Monopoly set for the Cardboard Millionaire and DonGon so they could go off and play with that, instead of with Stanley? |

Before this gets out of hand (or into the hands of Lew) I hereby claim all intellectual property rights to any board game based on the principles of Monopoly but using football clubs instead of properties.
I also bequeath any profits from those rights to buying a six foot four, fifteen stone, goal-scoring behemoth for Stanley. |

at the time they came out with some crap about credit card donations not coming through in time (due to banking timescales or summat) so wouldn't have been included in the figure that they presented (or didn't) to the tax dudes.
