Hereford Thread

Hi all
Very limited laptop space here at Edgar Street and no student helper but I'll do my best to keep you all informed!

Three changes for the Reds OUT go Dunbavin, McConville and Long.
IN come Cisak, Richardson and Smyth

Still 4-2-3-1: Cisak, Winnard, Edwards, Smyth, Hessey, Barnett, Joyce, Ryan, Parkinson, Gornell.

I'll do subs shortly - can't reach team sheet!!!

Dan

I'm an idiot. Four changes - Gornell in for Boulding too!

sparkie 23-10-2010 13:43

Re: Hereford Thread

Thats four changes Dan, Gornell is in for Boulding too. I'm a bit stumped at putting Cisak in over Bavs (unless hes had a bug or something) he's played very well this season and wed have got beasted last week without him!!! Alex Cisak this is your chance to show us what you can do fella, good luck to you.

I know we've been playing with ten men rather regularly lately, but that's a bit presumptious young Dan. :D

I really dont know & cant fathom it out - neither can he:(, which is so frustrating that he isnt rightfully given a starting chance - could be a winner:D

Cheers Shaker

To me and I am no expert but using that formation is surely to create more space for wing play?

10 conceded and 1 win in the last three games seems reason enough to me! :D

Correct, Bavs had an amazing game last week! and has been superb all season so far! However Hereford have quite a few big players getting in the box so Ciask is needed today :)

Nah, the ref has been pretty good this week compared to the last couple we've had, it just shows the difference in standards.

Hereford 1:1 Stanley Disappointing final result, really needed a win :(

As always thanks Dan & your guest today Andy P

Larry Lobster 23-10-2010 15:56

Re: Hereford Thread

Any away point is a good point. Hereford have improved since they sacked Davey and they would have targeted this game as a must win. Well they didn't, so a hard fought point. Always disapointing when you've been in front, but had Stanley equalised it would have seemed a more welocome point.

Well just got back after a decent day.

Cisak was superb all game, his shot stopping and handling are superb.

Great to see Leam back in the side, in a midfield role aswell.

Awful mistake by Phil for there goal.

1-1 probably a fair result im just hoping Jimmy Ryans ankle knock isnt 2 bad :)

Roll on next Saturday

new red 23-10-2010 21:19

Re: Hereford Thread

Been back an hour or so and had time to reflect. We shouldnt have settled for a point today it was there for the taking. Can understand Coley wanting to give Liam a game but feel he would have done a better job at the back and we should have gone with a more attacking midfield, Hereford werent good and we sat back a little too much.Jimmy m.o.m again didnt give up and Cisak did ok just needs games under his belt. Didnt think Smyth was ready for the step up (too many balls hoofed out of play). Roll on saturday we need 3 points as 1 from 9 aint good.

my thoughts on that n i'm a turner fan is he must improve n get his crosses past the first defender, seems to have lost it this season from the bits ive seen.

Agreed 100% mate.

Im 1 of Chris's biggest fans, but he hasnt made the impact from the bench this season as he did last.

Would be good to see him get a start but I cant see it at the moment.
