Stanley dedicated webpage, we hope you like it ;)

Our graphic guys have been working hard with their crayons here at ComeOn! and managed to get page finished today. ComeOn! proud sponsors of Accrington Stanley

Feel free to share it with your facebook friends if you like it ;) The video is still classic, I wonder what that boy does today!

The lad's name is Carl Rice, an actor - I think he was last seen on tv in a series called 'Massive' with Ralph Little a couple of years ago - website looks good but did you have to use 'that advert' - I know a lot of people got to know the name of Stanley because of it but it really is cringeworthy, sorry.

got to say think it's absolutely pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!! amateurish at best. I have a 13 year old daughter that could produce better than that and make it far less condescending and be far more accurate in our ascension into the football league rather than "a couple of seasons" and the imagination in using the milk advert is of genius proportions! I do hate it that in these days of financial osterity we have to prostitute ourselves to people like these!

I think " Come on " are basing the web page more around the milk advert , rather than around Accrington Stanley.:confused::confused:

I'm with Nige on this, they could also have done with a proof reader.

I know Malta well and it is a hotbed of support for English Football and has always been frenzied in it's support of a multitude of different football teams.

I met Gary Neville out there a few years ago and I know he is a first rate ambassador for the Island, also met John Hartson at a West Ham United Supporters meeting another year whilst there.

I attended a few of the "maroons" matches with my Maltese best mate Jim our holidays always for some strange reason;) landed around the annual festival in Gzira which again the Club "maroons" were entwined with.

How well known are you on the Island comeon and can you give Stanley greater coverage & publicity over there?:)

Re: Stanley dedicated webpage, we hope you like it ;)

Afternoon ;)

Our offices are based in Malta, although we can’t accept players from Malta due to gaming legislation since that is where we are licensed from. As a result, we don’t do any physical marketing in Malta, although as “Pendle Red” mentioned, there are a loads of expats living in Malta working in the gaming industry. These expats will certainly be exposed to Accrington Stanley through our sponsorship now, which is good for the both of us.
ComeOn accepts players from all over the world, apart from the US. We have put the Accrington Stanley crest linking to the Accrington Stanley page in each of our country specific pages, UK, Sweden, Norway, Chile, Serbian, etc. So this will lead to lots more people learning about Accrington Stanley and visiting www.accringtonstanley.co.uk no matter what country they live in.
It was hard to strike a balance on the page ComeOn! proud sponsors of Accrington Stanley since we couldn’t assume that all our visitors had heard of Accrington Stanley before, so had to aim for a more informative page that a visitor to our site from Greece for example would be able to read and understand as well as being acceptable to the hard core Stanley fans ;)

:) Don't mind the way you've done it!! at least it promotes Accrington Stanley to countrys other than our own, which in my mind can only be good for the club :) and anyone clicking on to the stanley web site can find out more about the ins and out of our club history:)
