Poor draw... provided vale beat dartford, when they play us it depends how seriously they take the cup if they are riding high in the league.. if they rest players it could be ours for the taking

vale won't be happy at playing an extra cup game (replay) so would possibly rest a couple, particularly as their league form has dipped a little. It's winnable and the players will feel they owe them one after the league match.

I would have much preferred a home draw but it's another game

It's winnable at either and a bigger purse for the winners and your name in the hat for round 3

Not that many good draws to be had unfortunately. Next round will be interesting. Would of liked the Rotherham and York one as i think York may snatch a win at their gaff. Would be happy with Dartford but not happy with going to Port vale again.

If Vale who are concentrating on the league put out a rubbish side and we grab the win that could take us to a big name club then its very worthwhile.

I think football has sunk to an all time low if league 2 teams are going to play a weakened side against a team in the same division in the 2nd round of the FA Cup. :o

Its a sign of the modern day game.. every one does it even lower league teams because the money is doing well in league rather than cup..

Providing we beat Dartford and we were very lucky to get a draw at their place then we'll be fielding out strongest line-up against you guys. Adams doesn't believe in pussy footing about and feels that players should be fit enough to play a couple of games a week.

As for Pubs, for real ale drinkers Burslem is unbelievable. Take your pick from The Bulls Head, The Duke William, The Leopard and if you're early enough The Post Office Vaults. All excellent boozers with friendly locals and fantastic ales.

If Vale get past Dartford its a possability that the game could be moved either to a friday night game or a sunday afternoon game !!As stoke city have a home fixture on the saturday...sunday sounds good to me anyone else??
