Hello Accrington Stanley fans,

I am Stefan and I am from the Netherlands.

Me and a good friend of mine would love to visit Accrington and come to support the boys on the field.
Although it's quite difficult to buy a ticket for us.

Can anybody please give me some information about buying tickets. Also we would love to drink a beer before the match. I am sure you guys knows a good pub to drink a pint before the game.

Excuse me if my English writing isn't that good but hey, I am from the Netherlands ;)

Morning Stefan. Look at the Club shop, they do stuff online & yes some of the characters know a few pubs :D enjoy !

sort yourselves some airplane tickets then we'll be glad to recommend pubs, hotels etc.

Any match involving Stanley is to be recommended. But Stanley play 'local' teams on 8 January and 1 February, when it should be colourful.

If you like tension and drama, there's Barnet on 30 April.

I think it's best to come in spring at the end of the season. Because in January and February the chance a match can be cancled due the weatherconditions is to big.

Er Val, if you are to give Stefan info at least give him correct info lol. We HAVE played Oxford in the league at the Kazam stadium earlier this year, we haven't played Oxford at our gaffe in the league.
Personally though Stefan, I agree with Valarian, Oxford or Bradford will be the big two to watch

Manchester airport nearest n best mate, about 1 hour away.;) based on assumption yer flying from amsterdam? ya probably get best prices that way.

Leeds / Bradford probably best for cheap flights from Amsterdam or Rotterdam. Jet2.com i believe. This thread might just be a bit of a wind up methinks, or perhaps I'm just being cynical.

@Cashman: Tnx! Will look at the Schiphol website for prices. I hope I can come over by train when I am landing @ Manchester, Leeds or Bradford.

@ Larry, I understand you think this thread is a wind up but it will be the first time I am comming to Accrington and I like to be sure if everything is okay. And you (as Accrington Stanley fans) knows best how to visit a match ;)

Manchester is probably the most accessible, plus flights should be quite frequent out of Schiphol. Could even try Düsseldorf Weeze to Leeds/Bradford, not so often but cheap, depends where you are in Holland.
