Crewe fan in peace

greeting all. after losing our last 2 home games to the freeze and snow currently falling where we are i though i'd get a weather update from where you are and see how likely the game on boxing day is to go ahead.

i see you postponed you home game with Burton on saturday as well. any thaw where you are? what the state of the Crown ground, the pitch, the surrounding areas, the terraces etc.

i really do hope it goes ahead as we are 2 sides who are certainly capable of scoring hatfulls and last season we scored 14 goals in both fixtures.

realistically though i know there is little or no chance of it going ahead.

sorry was hoping for a bit more information. what are conditions like up there and around the ground etc.

i do agree that there is very little chance of the game going ahead but if its only a very little chance i'll still hold on to it.

what are the club doing inspection wise? having a look christmas eve or 9am boxing day?

Pitch is like iron at the moment, no hope of thaw according to local forecast, as fer when inspection you know as much as us.

lol. yeah no worries. just that we had a 'slight' thaw in crewe today.

i hope the club have a pitch inspection planned for 9am on the day. dont want to half way there and find out its off.

Don't bother setting off mate. If the match is on I'll do a nude streak down the pitch. Oh, hang on - does that mean our lovely stewards will throw me out?:D
