I said last night on the book of faces it could be doubtful.Don't think it's due to rain before 5pm so make sure theire isn't a lot of injury time :D

That pitch is a joke!!!! £70K my backside... it had to have work done after the Shots game, it was terrible for Chesterfield and today was a joke, it is a good job it was Bury and not Hereford.....

with any work of this nature a responsable contrator (which they are) will help all they can to solve ongoing problems.

The difficulty I feel is the location i.e. bottom of a hill and lower than the surrounding houses this cannot help.

has the rain over the last couple of years got wetter? are the frosts colder?

the problems we have with the pitch are not inheritant problems so there may be something to suggest that the problem is more to do with recent work (not the levelling as the problem is older than that). In the Unibond we rarely (if ever?) had games called off for the pitch and back then we only had a pair of scissors and a rolling pin with which to manicure the lawn!
