Full-page interview with Coley in today's NLP. All upbeat, optimistic stuff apart from his disapponitment with this season's attendances. He says, "we used to get 3,000 when we were on top of the Unibond." Did we? I never saw 'em!

Coley reckons we should be getting over 2,000 for home games and I think he's right. If only we had a crowd...moan, moan, moan.

We are second in the conference and we still are'nt getting a gate of 2,000, its a joke :mad:

Spoke about this on the bus. Why should we "suddenly" be getting 2000. Football & your team is something you are born with.

You don't suddenly think oh I'll be a Stanley fan now they are doing well...

But a few years of doing well & wehen adults keep bring ing the children etc (Children are Stanley's future) then we will have a hardcore following

People think Football ends with the Premiership anyway. 3 seasons ago 600 for the opening game & Alty brought a few.

No, but you'd expect a few more casual fans to start turning up like they did at the beginning of last season...remember getting 2000 for a midweek game against Leigh? Where were the other 500 last Saturday?

Oh well, we'll see what the gate's like tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll end up owing another fiver, but I'm not counting on it.
