1st goal against The Cobblers!!

Seeing as how we have never managed a goal against The Cobblers this time round and as most of us feel confident that we might - at the 4th attempt - get one today, who will go down in the history books as the first Stanley player to score against The Cobblers - just for fun :D :D :D

Sunbeds from the spot for me!!!!

Here's to a much needed 3 points today!!

My prediction is...our first goal will be one of those that comes up on the What Happened Next? section in a Question of Sport in years to come. Cisak gives it an almighty boot up the field, a sudden gust of freak wind carries it high over the hapless Cobblers defenders' heads and past their goalie who can only watch in open-mouthed amazement as lands in their net.

First goal to Cisak!

Who cares who scores first, just as long as we put the ball in the onion bag more than they do! From a personal point of view, I'd like to see Jimmy Ryan scoring another cracker, and/or what about Ian Craney?

First goal to Cisak!

Hessey aims a long diagonal crossfield pass for Sean; Sean volleys across the area towards Terry's head - ball strikes a well-placed referee on the back of the head, ricochets back, hits a fox which has dashed on the pitch and trickles past the stranded keeper.

Foxy! :p

As the only person to mention Craney, I give you the prize for getting it right :) (Just not sure what the prize is yet :D :D) Though when I saw that Cobbler handle the ball early on, I did get excited when the ref blew his whistle  Only to be let down when he pointed for a free kick the other way :(

Great win today, roll on Tuesday :)
