Have a go on here... I got stanley in the pklayoffs..winning 4 of the last 6 fixtures :) Might even get autos if other teams beat the ones around us.

[quote=maccawozzagod;895892]Okidoki, to try to clean it up a bit for those that like this sort of thing (obviously I dont ....). All based on played 40 games.
Wycombe game in hand 69 points still to play Torquay and Bury all away Bury game in hand 68 points still to play Wycombe at home and Chesterfield and Satanage away -------------------------------------------------automatic places --------------- Shrewsbury 66 points still to play us and Oxford at home Satanage 64 points still to play Port Vale and Bury at home Torquay 64 points still to play Port Vale, Wycombe and Chesterfield at home and Rotherham away Gillingham 64 points still to play Rotherham and Chesterfield away ------------------------------------------------play off places ------------------ Us 64 points still to play Oxford at home and Shrewsbury away Port Vale 61 points still to play Torquay and Satanage away Rotherham 59 points still to play Gillingham and Torquay at home Discounted Oxford now aqs they surely can't make up 7 points with only 15 to play for and three teams in front of them Rotherham have more than likely had it as well but if they win both their games against play off teams then they are only 2 points behind each of them. Torquay I feel are in trouble now. Still seem to be playing well but to win 4 games out of 5 all against contenders is a massive ask. You can perhaps afford to drop a couple of points or three against lower opposition but not against those around you. They have to win all those games in my opinion. Port Vale I fancy them to win both of their games which makes gives them a formidable chance |
Re: Interesting Fixtuers to come for the top teams
Wycombe don't have a game in hand.
Everyone plays at least two games against top-8 teams apart from us, so everyone will drop points around us. Not a good 24 hours, but we do have a 3-pt cushion over 9th place so it's six teams vying for 7 places IMO. If it does become eight teams (Port Vale win both away games) they will be taking significant points off teams above us and so increase our chances of at least gaining a playoff place. A place in the playoffs is ours to lose now IMO. |

Re: Interesting Fixtuers to come for the top teams
I think the best bet might be to hope that Torquay DO win all those games in which case each of their opponents stands to lose around 5 points each minimum

Re: Interesting Fixtuers to come for the top teams
I reckon Stanley's last 2 games could be real dogfights
