Fans Goal Of The Season
Hi All,
As most of you know we usually have a vote on here for the AccyWeb Player of The Season. This year I though we might change it a little and vote for our Goal of The Season. It's been a cracking season so far and there's been quite a few to pick from so which one stands out for you? Post a vote for your favourite on here please. I'll run this for a couple of weeks and close the thread at midnight on Monday 25th April to give me time to sort out the trophy which will be presented at the OSC Presentation Evening on Saturday, 30th April. |
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
McConvilles for me. They come much better than that. I cant remember who it was against now.

Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
Choice of 3. Ryans away at morecambe, mcconville v hereford or proccys just last friday night.. if i had to pick one, probably mcconvilles
|
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
Mcconville's screamer for me.
|
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
Great idea for a Goal of the Season award.
Torn between McConville's Hereford howler or Proccys super goal at Macc, I am going to go with the minority on this one, Proccy at Macc:D |
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
Toss a coin fer me between Putterill v Newcastle, n McConville V Hereford, Just tossed a coin n its Putterills.:)
|
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
i'd have Putts v Newcastle as well
|
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
For the ability to produce a control and hit under pressure and at the buisess end of the season (and a little bit because it was against the welsh!!) my vote goes to Sean McConville :D

I'll go for the Proctor one at Macc, who knows how relevant it may be :) |
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
For me the second goal we scored against Crewe at home in February
Ball from our own half chested down and then smashed home by Ian Craney defence into attack in three moves. |
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
Maccas' FANtastic control and volley :D
|
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
Craneys against Crewe
|
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
:) McConville v Hereford :)
|
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
McConville at home to Hereford. It's a goal that epitomises Stanley's better play this season. Great vision from Ryan (our best creator) to pick out McConville and excellent control and volley from arguably our best finisher
|
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
Has to be McConville v Hereford for me.I've not seen a better goal for years.
|
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
Luke Joyce v Bradford 23rd april
|
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
Not wrong!!! Procs' wasn't that bad either....
|
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
luke's this afternoon was sublime watching the ball drifting towards the top corner and then nestling there was worth more than £13 on it's own
at that point i think we all believed! |
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
After yesterdays game I think it has to be Luke Joyce's effort, lovely curling shot from my favourite player. And I got a wave from him at the end of the game!!!:D
Nice one 'my Lukie'!!!! |
Re: Fans Goal Of The Season
Yep i agree with the above posts, changing mine from Sean Mc against Hereford to Luke Joyce against Bradford 23/4. Peach of a goal.
