Real cider
Four of us driving up on Friday are devout members of the 'Oxford Cider Drinkers, OCD). Please, can you tell me whether any pub in Accrington sells real cider?
Not Strongbow, Magners, Bulmers or Woodpecker, not chilled or poured over ice, just real English(or Welsh) cider. |

There are some decent bottled ciders, Westons Organic, Westons 1880, Thatchers Katy are very popular. Westons also do a 3 litre box of organic. if you come to Oxford next season, go to the Priory pub next to the ground & try a pint of Black Dragon, in my opinion, (although it is welsh:D), it is simply the best cider around, but at 7.2% be careful:) |

Re: Real cider
Would just like to say thank you to Accrington Stanley F.C. & the people of Accrington for making us so welcome yesterday.
Enjoyed Friday evening in Dingle country, but found a pub with good cider, which we drank until unfortunately they ran out. Enjoyed a pint in the Crown before enjoying the hospitality of ASFC. Thank you. |
