Cannot wait for this! .. I am hoping to land in the Crown Ground for around 6pm, will be leaving Grimsby around 3pm!
|
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
Luke,
we aim to look after all our FANtastic fans, I hope you feel part of this team!!:) PS At least you've got you're "derby" back!!;) |
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
haha, All Grimsby fans are very happy with that. I'm taking a new approach next season, I've been a ST holder for 10+ years but next year I'm not going to bother. I play football on Saturdays now so what I'm doing is going to go to more random games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Obviously if Stanley are at home or away (local to Grimsby) then i'll be going there (PLEASE GO UP! Scunthorpe is only 30mins drive, although it's a dump) So although GTFC are still 'my team' i wont be going to watch them much anymore
|
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
Stevenage have just announced the ticket allocation, and already their forum says that over 1,000 will be travelling, with 100's trying to get home section tickets...
worth keeping an eye on the online ticket sales for the Coppice End ????? |
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
Wonder were all the extra's are coming from??

Re: Home leg ticket Madness
How will it work if we get to the Final with tickets will they be processed by an outside source or done at the Club?
Bearing in mind numbers for tickets could be mind boggling? |
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
It'll be probably ticket master or similar process meaning booking fee on top.

When Blackburn were there (ok 18 years ago) club sold tickets When Dingles were there, club sold tickets... cant see how you ca have them 100% online, or segregation would be a joke... imagine if it was Swansea vs Cardiff, Forest vs Derby, etc etc |
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
Quote:
Not 100%, general Sale tickets were sold through Ticketzone. Why would 2 clubs probably selling 10,000 - 20,000 tickets each in a 70,000 seat stadium have concerns about segregation. Who would want to go in the opponents end when you are there to support one team ? The Football Conference have appointed See Tickets for their final. It's a logistical nightmare for small clubs to do it all themselves. |
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
anybody have a spare clayton end standing ticket willing to sell?

Re: Home leg ticket Madness
I believe Coppice standing available!!
If we get to OT, an agency will be used (sorry:)) We'll have 34,000 to sell in 8 days, Lew and the team are good but there ain't 50 hours a day!!:p |

Wow Clayton end sold out already. Managed to get mine Tuesday, they weren't open but a lad said said he'd sort us out seeing as we'd come down, really sound. Didn't dream we be in this situation back on those cold Saturday winter afternoons!

Re: Home leg ticket Madness
times like this when we shouldn't of had the seats in the clayton end, as from reports on the fishy site there is still alot of seats available in the clayton and i can't help but think it will not look as good with loads of empty seats at front and everyone at the back, surely if there was not seats the clayton end would sell out and would look fantastic, full,
|
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
the seats will probably sell out as well, but will still be empty as they'll all be crammed in to the standing area a la Newcastle, Fulham
|
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
Sore point wi most clayton-enders them soddin seats MCR, but were stuck wi em, simple as.
|
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
If we didn't have the seats in the Clayton End, we wouldn't be in the FL, simple as!!
Even DON realised this and his good work kept us in the FL's good books! |

Manchester United Official Web Site - Seating Plan

Re: Home leg ticket Madness
That cant be right surely????
More expensive to sit right at the back of the North Stand?!!? |
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
Quote:
Would have been twice the price had it been the FA, it's the Football League :D. At least it's not rip-off Wembley :) |
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
It's more expensive for under 16s to watch these play off finals than it is for them to watch premiership games at Old Trafford. Premiership matches are £10 for under 16s anywhere in the ground.

Re: Home leg ticket Madness

we need to make sure that the Clayton Enders (Ultras) are in the same section What is now the East Stand is ok, but the disabled section spoils it for atmosphere, that's why they have more noise coming from the Away section (east Stand corners, E232, E231 and E230), where, because the roof is the old Main Stand, and lower, it doesn't disappear into the sky (like the huge North Stand). The best places for noise will be either the way section, above, or the Family Stand (FAM206-FAM212) or, even better, the Main Stand I know money will be an issue, so once we know, can someone decide and let everyone know... where will the Ultras section be???? |

Re: Home leg ticket Madness
It is strange that the north stand tier is most expensive???
The warning on the Turnstile says something like "196 steps await you,If you suffer from vertigo please inform a steward " Not that it'll be needed for the finalists |
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
:) Just had a look at the stadium planner!! 1 seat left to sell in the clayton end other than that sold out :D main stand sold out except for 2 disabled places :D coppice is filling up nicely :D:D record Attendance
|
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
Yep, only the coppice end remains really.
Would be superb to fill that aswell :) |
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
it would be great to fill the coppice end as well, the lads really need a "Full House" wi majority cheering em on, so come on accy folk fill it.

sadly I remember them building it too..... memories.... no scoreboard (being built)...60,000, mostly stood up, United vs Stoke, FA Cup, 3-3.... Georgie Best, ....RIP..... Charlton scored screamer from half way line... past THE Gordon Banks......... move on 40 years...... Craney (turns up for a start)... gets the ball, just inside Torqauy's half, lets fly, the ball screams into the top corner.... the Stanley fans erupt..... 35,000 Accrington folk go mental (left two behind to switch off the lights)....... 1-0 with two seconds to play........ Then I woke up...... |

"SOLD OUT" sounds good, I cant wait. Three sides of the ground packed there should be a great atmosphere. Lets hope we do it for all of the people who have worked so hard over the years to get us to this position.

Could someone explain why half the Whinney Hill terrace was empty? If that was a sell out, the attendance should be 5070, yet the official attendance was 4185, how is that a sell out?, hell of a lot of space at the top of the Coppice stand.

The figures still don't add up for me. 200+ maybe for the empty half of the Whinney Hill, presumably unsold by Stevenage. Where were the other missing 700+ if all home tickets were sold? Very odd.

Re: Home leg ticket Madness
None of it added up towards the end
was watching the on-line sales, and we had 500 left at one point, then I see an "official" announcement that there are 200 left???? 300 didnt just vanish, or, as it now appears, get sold. Understand if the camera took up 300 places of for safety reasons... but why not say that Now the season is over it's time to get serious (Ilyas???). Went to the club for my ticket for the Barnet game, which I had ordered, during "opening hours"... was told shut because the new shirt stock had arrived and the guy said "I am not stopping again till midnight, so I have took tickets off sale, and shut the shop"... forthunately I only cam from Rishton, but what if I had travelled...??? When I went for my Bradford Ticket, which I had ordered (having been told the three games were all-ticket)... was told "it is locked in the office".... On numerous other occassions I have been to the ground and the office/shop has been shut when it is advertised as being open Time to have a re-think, get some professionals in, and HOPE we keep the manager on the pitch.... |
Re: Home leg ticket Madness
Alot of clubs always announce a smaller figured attendance so it's less money to give out :p Bradford almost got caught with it a couple of seasons ago when they tried blagging there was over 2000 less fans in the ground than there was :p
