come what may over the next two weeks I'd just like to state how proud I am of what this team has acheived this season. Early promise with clean sheets galore, good victories over Doncaster and Oldham and a narrow defeat to Newcastle, gave way to mid season mediocrity where, although the performances were still there, we couldn't seem to get the points on the board. But since Christmas the performances got better still and we haven't looked back. A run of results akin to the one that got us out of the Unibond 1st division has seen us rise like the proverbial Salmon, swimming against the tide and leaping up waterfalls from 19th to 5th.

Get on it Stan, this play-off battle is there for the taking. Out muscle the Scumbag Stevenage then tonk Torquay at Old Trafford. Onwards and upwards and thanks for the ride.

I'm so excited about going down to Stevenage, I will suffer for it tomorrow though!! But what the hell, it's an experience I really don't want to miss.

While I stay in Accrington my heart will be at Stevenage. Good luck to our team , you have done us proud this season and we will still be proud whatever the outcome. Give it your best and we will see you back here on Friday night , for the killing, roll on. Safe journey to all who are travelling.
