Prediction League Game 47B; Stevenage (home) - Playoff 2nd leg)
Accrington Stanley V Stevenage Prediction League – Game 47B; v Stevenage (home) – League Two Play-offs (second leg) It’s trite but true; this tie’s only half over yet, and we’re not out of this by a long chalk …………..:) I pointed out the stats last time; they only lost 3 at home in the league all season, and we weren’t at our best, or our luckiest, on the road. All that changes at Fortress Crown, though, where our record – W15 D5 L3 F53 A24 – was the best bar everybody except Chesterfield :D; we also outscored Stevenage by almost a goal a game at home :hothothot (53 to their 37), and conceded exactly the same as they did; away from the Lamex, they averaged just over one goal a game (25 in 23 League matches), whereas at home we put 3 goals past Macclesfield, Lincoln, Oldham, Crewe, Stockport, Burton, Port Vale, Hereford, Northampton, Southend, Bradford and Barnet, and – let’s not forget – 7 past Gillingham :hothothot:hothothot:hothothot. We can do this ………..:hothothot:hothothot:hothothot:hothothot So, Ladies and Gentlemen; the deadline for entries is, as ever, scheduled kick-off time, which is 7.45pm on Friday 20th May. Nobody wants the dream to end just yet :o; I want to start the thread that says “Prediction League Game 48; The Playoff Final” :p; I want to go to Old Trafford . Away goals don’t count double, remember, if scores are level; mind you, 3-0 has a nice ring about it …………What d’you reckon, Wynonie? What are the Voices saying? :D Get your guesses down; you know it makes sense! Good luck to everyone ………… and thanks for playing! :alright: |
Re: Prediction League Game 47B; Stevenage (home) - Playoff 2nd leg)
Attitude will mean everything, if they want a chance to go up and play like it, I can see a 3-1 win for Stanley and then a win on penalties.

Re: Prediction League Game 47B; Stevenage (home) - Playoff 2nd leg)
4-1, Jamesey Ryan to score at least one from the top of Whalley Rd, Supertan Phil Edwards penalty spot net destruction, Little Sean McConville deflecting the equaliser of his backside. Last minute of extra time Ray 'Razor' Putterill volley of such a force not only does it break all 10 of Days fingers it tears through the net and lifts the roof of the Clayton End and cause the earth to stop revolving for a couple of seconds. The match ball will never be found as assumed its broke up on leaving the atmosphere, The Crown will run so dry it'll turn to sand and blow away!
And if not, overall a cracking season :) |
