Next Saturday (28/5/2011)

Is next Saturday (after we Satanage on Friday) the latest time we have played in a season?

Forgive me for being naive. I am only a casual follower of Stanley and do not tend to post on here (in fact this is my first time).

1939-40 away at Burnley on June 1st in a regional League (North West) game. We lost, but I wont tell you by how many or Dave will start bragging ....

It was after the outbreak of War when the regular league season was cut short whilst we were joint top of the 3rd Division North

We were clear top with 6 points, having won all 3 games! Halifax were second with 5 points. :)
