Blackpool's longest serving player, been there about 12 years. 29 years old - right back who can play midfield; played over 300 games for Blackpool. Went on loan last season to Rotherham. Scores the odd goal, but not prolific. Decent player, according to all the football fans at Blackpool where I work .........

Someone was quick - his Wikipedia page says he plays for us! :o

I thought I'd heard of him but I was thinking we'd signed a goalie - turns out I was thinking of Danny Coyne - I'll get me coat :)

A good player by all reports but with a history of many injuries. At one point the 'Pool fans were running a sweepstake on what his next injury would be. I really hope he will have better luck with us!

A very experienced and versatile signing just what the side needs:)

The beauty hopefully of his signing now is he will get a good pre-season under his belt

Never heard of him although you have to take into account I've never watch Blackpool. I like him though; got the right attitude towards the game and the club. Something to look forward to if he can keep his fitness up and ward off any future injuries. I like to see local lads committing themselves to local clubs; proper football, love it. Welcome aboard Danny. I'll commit myself to sponsoring your away shirt this season……Lew?

Good signing! Experienced but by no means over-the-hill and possessing undoubted talent. Just what we need. Seen the video and as Doug says he seems to have a great attitude.

A back four of Coid-Hessey-Long-Winnard looks very, very strong to me!

Looks like the perfect replacement for Phil and seems like a great lad he certainly wears his heart on his sleeve. After watching the video two things stuck out to me (1) he has a passion for the stanley already (2) he had better offers but its not all about money, a few others could take heed from that statement.

Agreed Shaker,that fits in how Acci like to defend , ie three solid defenders and an attacking option,which Jacobson did well last year.
Hope Long returns this season,as apparently he loved it at Acci ( from a reliable source !! )

Burnley return to training today so I guess he may have a better idea how much he's wanted there.
