The Rammy game is the youth team. Phil Hackney has arranged that and an away game for his lads at Rotherham ( 16th I think):)

Accy To Visit Holker Street

League 2 Accrington Stanley will visit Barrow for a pre-season friendly on Saturday July 23rd.

Negotiations over the fixture looked to have stalled, but with The Furness Select fixture clashing with local clubs' pre-season games and Accrington's plans also altering, the game has been resurrected.

The game will involve Stanley's full first team squad, while The Furness Select game will now take place on Thursday August 4th at 7.45pm

well that at least gives some of the faithful a chance to say goodbye to Chris Turner (if he's still there then) as he's currently on trial at Barrow.

The day after our season starts but it's still pre-season for Southport. Their season starts on 13th August.

Interesting that it says 'postponed' and not 'cancelled'...

Just noticed the lad who was on trial with Acci,Jon Routledge,has signed and played in stockports first two games.
Looks like another choosing money instead of playing in the football league.
Looked a decent tidy player tho,would have been a good signing
