Stanley Home Games To Last 3 Hours

Multi-Ball now banned in Football League matches. Does this mean they have to wait and find the ball every time it goes over the Cowshed :D

Might be 3 hours at Accy, BUT Rotherham have asked to use the Don Valley all weekend. They are hopeful of getting the 1st half completed on Saturday, but can't guarantee getting the games finished by Sunday lunchtime. New electonic boards are on order, added time with be in hours not minutes!! A new dimension to "fergie time":)

Maybe it's why Shrewsbury moved grounds, they knew this rule was coming in :D

If we're one-nil up at half-time, the second half always seems to take two hours already ....

As part of its drive to encourage a beautiful passing game and cut out the long ball, FIFA are proposing that clubs use a medicine ball. Central defenders and strikers will be allowed to wear crash helmets.

I would add 'ball retrieval' to Mick Schultz's matchday duties. I can just imagine him knocking on the front door of one of the houses behind the Whinney Hill Shed and saying, "Please mister, can we have our ball back?"

"Sod off!" Door slammed - match abandoned:-))

the games going backwards - in the 50's we had to play with what felt like a brown one of them every wet winter. No crass helmets for us and the nice man in a white coat tells me it didn't do me too much harm so long as I keep taking the tablets !

surely if the ball goes out of the ground there must be a dispensation that says you can still use another ball with decision made by the fourth official!! Otherwise this has to be the biggest joke ever!
