Buzzers fingernails!
Reckon they might be well chewed today! Fingers crossed that all the work on the pitch this summer pays off.
I'm sure it will :) |
Re: Buzzers fingernails!
Hopefully it is suposed to ease this afternoon, help it drain off if there is any standing water.

Re: Buzzers fingernails!
They're used to a bit more flooding at Brunton Park.
Can you come round and do my grass next week? |
Re: Buzzers fingernails!
In the hopes that it promotes a comment on the state of the pitch
after the recent monsoon weather? ;) |
Re: Buzzers fingernails!
The game would have been off last season so it's understandable why it puts doubts in peoples minds when we have the amount of rain we've had in the past few days. I'll take my wellies just in case the players need them :D

Re: Buzzers fingernails!
Are intact.
Walked the pitch at 5pm, FINE!!!!!!!!!!! Yes the rain today was heavier than expected (14mm in the last 24hrs at 2pm) BUT the drying wind and a colder forecast is helping. Compounds and terraces will need sweeping, BUT most importantly GAME ON!! Get down and support "our team":) |

Re: Buzzers fingernails!
I'm looking forward to tomorrows match. My lad should be starting right back for Macc and I expect a tough match. You'll be pleased to know that Macc have selection problems for the game. Nat Brown (centre half) and George Donnelly (quality striker) both picked up their 5th yellow card against Vale yesterday so are suspended. Ross Draper (midfield) picked up a metartasel injury and will miss the next few matches. Along with other injury concerns, It'll be a tall order for the Silkmen tomorrow and I'll be delighted with a draw.
Macc haven't been scoring many of late, but the defence is solid as a rock and have the 4th best defensive record in the division. Against Port Vale the whole team put in a tremendous shift and were worthy winners. I suspect that Stanley's extra days rest might be a deciding factor in the end. Good to see Stanley's recent revival (hope it has a temporary lapse tomorrow), I'll be honest, i expected a tough season for Accy this time around with the loss of so many, but once again John Coleman has shown why he is so well regarded in the game. as a PNE fan i would love to see Coley get the job there but he never seems to be considered for the "big jobs" Anyway, Happy new year to all Accrington Stanley fans and good luck for the rest of the season. (after tomorrow!!!) |
Re: Buzzers fingernails!
