Anybody that moans about £2 entry needs to have a word with themselves in my opinion.

Really looking forward to another night match.

Re: JPT cup game rearranged

This is usually the standard rule.

Quote:

The Club offers reduced admission to replays of abandoned games.
if a match is abandoned after spectators are admitted to the ground, but before
kick-off, spectators are entitled to free admission to the re-arranged match.
if a match is abandoned after kick-off and before half-time, spectators are
entitled to reduced admission to the rearranged match.
(In both the instances above supporters will be given a voucher/ticket upon
leaving the ground which they must present at the rearranged game in order to
qualify for any agreed discount)
Admission reductions will not be given if a game is abandoned after half time.
Refunds are not given under any circumstance.
£2 is a bargain for any Stanley game.

I'll be going, do you buy the tickets on the night or buy them from the ticket office in advance?

Re: JPT cup game rearranged

I think under the circumstances the small charge is the thing to do, no doubt there will be a bumper gate and maybe encourage more people to turn up on a regular basis

Re: JPT cup game rearranged

Why will there be a bumper crowd?
Oh yeah cause it's £2......people who don't normally go will attend.

So the regulars that pump money into the club all the time get treated the same
As those who have never been.

Joke !!

So what do you want? A sliding scale? Maybe like this:
Sponsors pay £2; season ticket holders pay £3; "regulars" (whoever they may be - and presumably you know a perfect way to recognise a regular when you see one) pay £4; others pay £5. And I guess you would count Tranmere fans as "others".:confused::confused:

Yes, on this occasion and for very good reasons, everyone is being treated the same. And it's no joke.

The fact that this also applies to people who did'nt attend the original game is a fantastic move by the club to attract people who normally would'nt bother with JPT games or any game for that matter. Also I think it can only benefit the club as normal price would have been £8 so maybe there will be a spare £6 on hand for food/beer/mechandise.

:o

Oh! So you DO want "those who have never been" to be treated like "the regulars that pump money into the club all the time".

Re: JPT cup game rearranged

The club will have incurred a lot of costs on both games that are fixed and will not be rebated in whole or part to the club.

£2 sounds very generous to me.

Re: JPT cup game rearranged

It's a very good incentive for the community who perhaps have not visited the Club before or not for a while to have a cheap night out and watch live football whilst hopefully coming back and watching Stanley again.

I hope it gets the publicity it deserves and maybe as fans we can help spread the word and try to bring a few family or friends along as well?

Also noticed this Accrington Stanley players to adopt school under potential sponsorship deal (From Lancashire Telegraph) which again hopefully will help put the Club at the heart of the community.

Some good stuff happening with the Club at the moment well done to all concerned.:)

Agreed. No problem with starting at 0-0 again if that's what Tranmere want. But to explicitly say it was never on the cards makes us look a bit miserly.
