'Strictly no Brucie' ?????

Hi everyone !! ....Like bad fish...long time no sea !!...
Copy of my letter to the Director General of the BBC...
Dear Mark,
Now I don't want you to think that in any way am I a fan of 'Strictly come Dancing'... but this evening I just happened to be stealing a crafty glance at this monument to Television culture..when Sir Brucie openly and cynically took the name of our great Club in vain..and using an extremely faux northern accent to do it !!...
(Quote..approx to a gal name of Chelsea)
'This young lady's parents named her Chelsea because they were fans of Chelsea Football Club...'..then, with a sneer ill befitting a newly dubbed knight of the realm..' Good thing they weren't fans of Accrington Stanley love !!...can you imagine it , 'Your breakfasts ready ACCRINGTON STANLEY !!!'..
I found this demeaning reference to our club more than insulting and shall be writing to my Member of Parliament about this breach of acceptable Television broadcasting... this is not what I call fair, and am seriously considering transferring my affections to ITV and 'Celebrity Family Fortunes' on a Saturday evening from now on !!.
Give my best to the wife and kids,

Yours etc..'Disappointed' of Accrington.

ps, I REALLY HATE CUR BRUCE FORSYTH as well !!

Au revoir !!...

Stanley also got a mention tonight on the Liverpool match. Grant Holt the goal scorer for Norwich played for, I can't remember. against us two years ago at the crown ground. Never got a kick against us.

To be fair, he only came on as a 65th minute sub when Forest were already losing:
BBC SPORT | Football | League Cup | Accrington 1-0 Nottingham Forest.

He rates us highly though; or did! See Redash's thread from 4 years ago:

I suppose it was Jay !...and perhaps not material to be treated with such tongue-in-cheek cynicism and muted scorn as my post may have been seen to contain by some of the more sensitive contributors to our Forum !....still it would seem that my typing of A instead of E has offered, to keen eyes and minds, an opportunity to give me a little bit of pedantic prodding ......SO... well spotted !!. http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/i...ons/icon11.gif

Groove thinks Stanley benefit greatly out of the mickey taking, going back to the 'who are they' commercial...Groove thinks people should realise that Stanley are famous for being rubbish.

Being a big fan of both Stanley and Strictly Come Dancing I can see a cunning possibility of making a link between the two.....:D:D:theband:
Having watched Chelsee dance on the TV it seems obvious to me that for a "little un" she certainly seems to have plenty, "up front", which is something we don't have much of at Stanley!!! Perhaps we need to bring her in "on loan" and play her "up front" and see if she can dance her way through the opposing defences in dision two. Strikes me me that she wouldn't do any worse than what we have had so far this season!!
Come on Chelsee!! (and Stanley!!):Banane42::Banane42::Banane42:

A cunning possibility indeed Choirboy !...
and touchingly proposed..perhaps the club and Chelsee ( n.b. Jaysay!) could become bosom-friends which would ensure a good couple of points..which would keep us abreast of the rest of the Clubs in Division Two !....
(You realise of course that all this could presage a deluge of the worst sub-decolletage puns ever !!)

Joe !!! ........ After confirming again that I am most definately not a fan of Sir Brucie's weekly dose of self-congratulatory ramblings on this towering monolith of Televisual entertainment...I nevertheless just happened to catch the show tonight just as the aforementioned CHELSEE
( n.b. again Jaysay !) had a problem when her bodice
,which was already sporting a most dating decolletage, came adrift during a crafty pirouette in what was laughingly described as a Pasa doble !....
This caused the poor girl to cover her embarrassment, and shed a sorrowing tear or two !!...as it would !!..:dummy2:
Now this occurrence nas not only allowed me to continue on this fanciful digression from all things 'Stanley' ...but to muse over the fact that CHELSEA too had their very own 'coming adrift' at 'the Bridge' this afternoon...and their share of embarrassment....particulary their much vaunted Captain !!...and like CHELSEE, during his stumble he must have felt a Right * * * as well !! .:

And a belated 'Well done' to the Reds for their efforts at Crawley... !!

Told you thet CHELSEE was a good 'un "Up Front". She did well again in spite of her "BooB" on Saturday nght!! :bingobangShe played paricularly well "On The Left, Up Front!!" but manged to retain her composure despite her tears.
Well done CHELSEE.
(Not so well done Chelsea).
Super point for the boys at Crawley - Well done!
Come on STANLEY and CHELSEE!!:mosher:

Well you see Choirboy ..It seems that Chelsee (Who is rapidly becoming the object of my affection !) apparently thinks that she has a divine right...and it crossed my mind last night that her left isn't that bad either !!...:mosher::alright:
