No they didn't Nige but initial frustration turned to determination. The night was an attempt to reach out to the businesses but, on a terrible night and without a reputation yet in the community I was always up against it.

This is merely the start of a long project that will give Stanley an outlet to reach the community and beyond that they have never had before.

The Stanley Elite will be ready for the general public to enter by next week and slowly, other the course of the next month or two, the idea will begin to grow and the game/project will be understood. Hopefully by then, with hundreds if not thousands of members, the benefits to all will be obvious. That is mine, and the clubs, hope anyway.

It is a new idea and a new concept. Stanley are the first to take it on board and will benefit greatly as it grows in this community then others.

I hope that, once you find out more soon, you will jump on board.

This experience, and many others to come, will ensure we address any issues or worries and come out stronger as we move on. There are many reasons for the no show and it is my job to find out why and do something positive about it. Watch this space.

good on you Pete. Many people give up straight away if the inital response is poor. Keep at it pal and I hope, for you and the club, that the secondary response is as great as your belief in your product.

Hopefully when the details begin to emerge it will take off via word of mouth and that fantastic new media, viral!

Thanks Macca. It is just back from the printers now so hopefully you should start to hear more about what it is and what it will do.
