Any budding writers?
 

Good evening,

I am looking for any budding writers in the Stanley community to contribute to our new Stanley Elite website. As number of members grow we hope to make the site as interesting and as varied as possible and we would love it if you could help.

I would welcome contributors who have a passion for writing and a love of the sport. The topics can be entirely up to you and I welcome wit and controversy providing it comes with a reasoned arguement prompting discussion.

There is no limit to the size of the article and is anyone wants to submit poems, sketches, cartoons etc I would be happy to consider all.

Hopefully your work will be read by the whole region within time.

Anyone who would like to contribute on a regular basis would become automatic members (for the family too).

I am also hoping to include a Q&A section when you can ask the club officials/players questions. If you submit the questions I will get the answers and they will also go onto the 'talk and discussion' tabs on the site.

Div3North - send me an email. It is difficult to tell how many members we will start off with. I am hoping for up to 500 in the first couple of weeks and then up to 3000 by end of Feb so you would have a decent readership on the site - mostly local folk.
If you want to start a regular slot or if we can work it into a mini competition in time then that would be great. Maybe even a monthly quiz on there.

I have put Dan at the Stanley Google Page Ranking office in touch with a chap who has a tale to tell about the events of 1962. It has not been told before, and I think will be interesting to all Accringtonians- and the football world. I will make contact about it soon.
