Thinking of going for the 1st time!
 

Hi guys Ive lived in Accrington all my life and the crime is ive never been to stanley Im a Arsenal fan (the team that made me love football) But I think its about time I cheer my home town team on and show my support so I'm wondering whats Stanley like on match day? is it a good atmosphere? is there ever any trouble? is it friendly?

Its a friendly as yeh can ever get at a football match mate, the craic is fierce n a damn good laugh, i'm n owd git n love standing on the clayton end.:);) the atmosphere fer a small club is second to none on yon n i spent 30 yrs plus down ewood, so i have summat to compare against, not just bias,;)

It's that friendly if you turn up early enough with your boots you get a game :)

I would say standing,atmosphere never seems the same in seats IMHO. yeh can call in oaklea first n stand stand wi us lot if yeh want first time, after that up to you. P.S. 1 of our lot was a Spurs fan, we call him southern softie pmsl.

Think I will get my self along on monday. Can u buy tickets at the ground? if so when is it open ill head down tomorrow or monday before game.

You can pay on the turnstile. Not open tomorrow. Open 10am Monday morning if you want to buy before hand or you can buy online and pick up on the day

We stand to the left of the goal, its fine there, all the racket is right behind goal.

I think you may be in for a shock, they shoot from outside the 6 yard box up at Stanley :D

Don't expect Premiership standard football but you can look forward to experiencing the game as it was intended - paying on the turnstile and standing on a terrace amongst friendly, down to earth football fans.

The joy of Stanley as well as being a good footballing side is the fans you will struggle to find a more passionate set of fans anywhere including the Premiership we may be relatively small in terms of numbers but are big in heart whe it comes to Stanley.

Football as it should be a friendly club with a Family ambience, terracing so you can be close to the action and vocal suport that bigger clubs would be proud of:)

Well done. I know it takes a big effort to break the ice and change habits. You are now a "Stanley Supporter". Bring a mate or two and get on the Clayton End with the Ultras. I am one of the older Ultras... I'll be 60 in four weeks time and I absolutely love it.:jimbo::jimbo::jimbo::jimbo:

I was in main stand section f row b was a cracking view of game im defiantly buying ticket for the Barnet game next weekend.
