Just reading on telegraph that theres been a fire at dark lane thats wrecked their main stand.

Rossy haven't/ don't play at Dark Lane and the new club have no plans to re-use that venue.

The plan to ground share in the Valley before hoping to find a venue perhaps at Marl Pitts.

Real shame it's got to what it has. Used to go up there for most matches in the old Cheshire League games, as an impressionable 11/12 yr old I used to think Peter Bourne was a superstar :D

Ironically was also my first game as a linesman in the North West Counties.

Feels sad to me as I used to sit in that stand when I was a kid and my granddad used to take me to rossie matches back in the early 70s happy memories.:mad:
