Joe Hinnigan

Gills fan here and read that our former centre-half has been put on gardening leave along with some other Stanley backroom staff

Is he likely to join John Coleman or is he awaiting a financial settlement from the club. Gotta say Joe is one of the nicest guys I've met around the football circuit

this mornings Telegraph Mab.

despite it having been written by Chris Flanagan. who most of you seem to have it in for, it was written from a 'i think' perspective.

As usual though no doubt a Dale fan will be along shortly to confirm it.

He was at Spotland today apparently. Not that I would recognise him or anything. In fact - who is he? Seems he has been at Dale before?

Re: Joe Hinnigan

We thought he'd of gone as today we had a younger nippier physio sorting ours out, joes given a few laughs & has a load of magic spray :)

Re: Joe Hinnigan

Hinnigan was assistant manager during Graham Barrow's reign at Dale between 96-99. They were none to popular back then but it was a long time ago.

He was sat on the bench but our normal physio Andy Thorpe was in situ. Other backroom staff to follow? What do they do?

Joe was our physio, and seemed a lovely guy.

Mark Patterson was a 1st team coach, I think???

We also had a keeper coach, cant remember his name though as we had about 10 in 2 seasons ;)
