Can they not be booked by phone either? This is a bit of a worry because I sometimes want to buy tickets for friends and family in the seats next to my own seat.

I think the chairman of the osc needs to respond & also need to speak to the club regarding the mail shot of 10% off tickets - never in the history of the osc has that been offered so this is new thing, a great USP & nobody bar a few know about it  As stanley moderator i need some clarification both from club & osc as to whether this is the case - otherwise im gonna have to re-edit this thread as until then its misleading info!

Ouber is your point just about online ticketing in general??

Re: online ticket?

Think there was plus points of ordering tickets online, but the negative against it was when u got your ticket - once in the ground it became a nitemare because of the pay on gaters sat anywhere if in your seat - it was an uncomfortable thing to have to turf someone from your seat & some wouldnt & lost seat anyway thro fear or not winning it. I had that problem i had to turf Mr Gornell out of my seat [terrys dad] hahaha that was hard work. It just became a logistical nitemare & with minimum stewards, it became complained about from this to picking up ticket or ticket not arriving in post etc. Maybe the cost of running it was a feature or that its suspended for now who knows:confused:

No not really each ticket that is printed will have a block number and row letter and a seat number printed on it ie block B row D seat 68,which this is allocated to you when ordering online or over the phone and if you pay at the ticket office on or before match days, paying at the turnstill means you run the risk of been turffed out if someone has a corrasponding ticket allocated to that seat..season ticket holders have a reserved seat for all home league games and have first opption with cup games, hope this helps:)

I have been trying to sit in the same seat for the last three games. If they dont add tickets online and I ring up can I tell them the seat I want? or the best available.

I would say yes!! If LEW was still at the club,Best bet is to ring the club and ask to speak to either Robert Heys or Robert Houseman, :)

Logged onto the online ticket.no mention of any game as I need some for the Oxford game. Will either ring or have to call in now ,thought the system would still be in place even with Lew leaving, for whoever has taken over ?

I'm not convinced the club will be over the moon with that one :D

To be honest it defeats the object of the original complaint, if you ordered online you would have to pay when ordering.

I just dont get why they haven't added any more games online seems daft.

Did that the other year & we had friends with us so we booked 6 seats all next to each other. When we actually came to sit in the "booked" seats we were fobbed off & told "Oh that doesn't mean anything what it says on the tickets, you just sit were you like !" needless to say I was a little miffed & didn't really want to get into an argument with the person involved & so ruin what was meant to be a pleasant day at the match, but it did rankle as we then had to try to find 6 seats together elsewhere with a decent view of the pitch. :(

Re: online ticket?

Righto, job done.

In fairness, please do pre order your tickets, whatever you feel about it and whatever experiences you have had it is the best way of getting the best seats in the house.

It was a new system for Accrington in the past but it is tried and tested this year it runs much better. Book in advance and collect on the day. By ringing the club uses a valuable resource when you can book online easily and quickly whilst watching corrie with your feet up.

By the way, have you ever tried oatcakes? yum yum...
