Forum Guidelines

In an attempt to reintroduce balance to the forum I've posted some guidelines/rules for forum use. Please read them before posting.

A number of long-standing members have expressed their current dissatification to me and it's a shame when these valuable members feel they no longer want to post on here due to the silliness of certain new arrivals.

Being young is not a crime, so I'm not criticising young forum members who regularly contribute to the discussion we all enjoy.
I'm also not pointing the finger at particular individuals, it up to all of us to keep the forum on track and on topic.

Thanks. :)

Thank you, Mr. Moderator. Your input is greatly appreciated, especially the last item. I know that you lot tend to talk funny, but I have found myself at a loss when trying to decrypt a great many of the recent posts.

For my part I undertake to in future try and knock my yewfumisms on the head and revert to the Queen's english ! Sorry Michegan Red, I forget when in full flow that I need to use global language and have a tendency to use deliberate mis-spellings ( my story and I'm sticking to it !).

Just a thought, Zombie, have you the power to cancel the 'write' ability of persistant drivel posters ? Certainly there are many threads I don't bother reading when I see who started them.

Have no fear, Long Lost One. ;) My English-to-American translator can handle the spelling errors and euphemisms. It's those ridiculous contractions-that-aren't (ur instead of your or you're) and number substitutions for words (ne1) that cause it to malfunction.

There was a robot spammer on this morning TM, listing all the online schools in America or summat. So I reported him. That's what my above post was on about.:)
