Accrington V Northampton

Looking forward to this one. Despite being in a rubbish league position we are actually one of the form teams in the division. Boothroyd has really turned us round and our starting 11 can rival any teams around the playoffs I'd say.

Jacobs is one to look out for on the left wing, probs amongst the top 3 players in the league, whilst Silva on the right wing is on loan from Liverpool and v good for League 2.

I don't underestimate anyone in this league though so It'll probably end up a draw. Wouldn't be surprised if we win though cos we have demoralised Cheltenham, Aldershot, Bristil Rovers and Dagenham in recent games.

Here's hoping for a good game and we should bring a decent following.

p.s I think those Stanley fans predicting a 3-0 win are in dream land. We have a decent team and are in better form than yous

I think Boothroyd attended the same manager's training camp as Westley. For that reason I hope you get stuffed :D

I think the only stuffing to be had tomorrow will be inAkinfenwe's half time snack.
Stanley will need to be at their best as the Cobblers position belies their current form.
Let's hope the return of Grant and the spirit shown at Southend prevail.

3points for Accrington. Bobby Grant returns. The writing is on the wall. Form counts for nothing in this league. Its our home game, we need to win to keep any glimmer hope of playoffs. Last couple of games earnt points away at Bradford and highly placed Southend. Build on that with 3points in a home fixture.

Tough game for the Reds tomorrow sure to be a baptism of fire for Rob Kiernan against Akinfenwa but I expect an open game and with Bobby back hopefully pulling the strings should make for a good game.

Looking for our fourth win in a row. Bayo's got 7 goals in his last 6 games. I'm not dismissing Stanley but don't be surprised if we put in a performance better than our league position

Quite sure you will - if you read the Prediction League thread opener you'll see what we're expecting ....... You're coming through your problem patch, but so are we; some new signings on board, and an old favourite back from League One on loan. Should be a good game. ;)

Don't take the 3-0s too seriously; we've got one guy who usually posts for something like an 8-1 win. Mind you, he's run out of tablets ....:D

Just noticed D3N's comments in the Prediction thread

Quote:

You may have seen that Dean Holdsworth (Aldershot Manager) claimed that when he released Gutteridge he had a ‘Gentleman’s Agreement’ that Gutteridge wouldn’t play against the Cobblers; Boothroyd sorted that by threatening to fine him if he didn’t play! End of ………..!
Says it all really, the bloke is a rear end hole
