“No room at the Inn” because of Corporate Entertainment
I understand that the club needs to use all aspects to raise revenue
But should it be at the expense of fans being excluded from the club house bar maybe they should consider a pass out system so fans could use The Crown at half time |
Re: “No room at the Inn” because of Corporate Entertainment
i stopped using the bar the first time they did it and haven't been back (before the game) since then.
As far as a pass out is concerned i don't think they'd legally be allowed. And it wouldn't work anyway. We used to do it back in the Unibond days but we were only getting two or three hundred fans on back then |

Sure I read something about a bar being available elsewhere for those in the main stand to buy beer at half time. |
Re: “No room at the Inn” because of Corporate Entertainment
I understand the need for hospitality and that's great if it is filling up week in week out and bringing much needed sponsorship money into the Clubs coffers by full utilisation of it perhaps including in house catering which then can then be rolled out for other functions in a package for the hiring of the Lounge.
From a supporters point of view Macca is right in crowds have gone up and it has become more and more difficult to have both fans enjoying a pint whilst balancing the hospitality side of things so is it worth looking at building something that could house fans separately that will only be used on match-days but bring in revenue? It's a tough one but maybe one that will only be addressed if the Club moves to a new ground? |

Do the club still run The Crown?

Will the Crown have some decent cider in for Tuesday?
