Personally I think he's a terrific character and certainly one that will be great to have around the dressing room.

I think the Rovers fan needs to give his head a wobble. Lets not forget that he had been your physio for donkeys years but stepping up to fill a gap (and save your club a shed load of cash when it was on its arse) and manage the team.

I understand your views when you believe the above to be true.
If you knew the real stories, an the real Les, you wouldn't be so off the pace.

Hopefully if Cooky does ever move on then Les isn't in the chairmans ear again for your sake. Then you might see the real Les.

I spoke to a couple of Tranmere fans before their game with Bury. In their view, Les was a brilliant physio but, as a manager, was out of his depth and was only appointed to the post because it was a 'cheap option'. So, if it's a physio we're after, then it looks like Cooky's got a good 'un.
