What does it matter what Radio Lancashire think ?
Bookmakers decide odds on football matches, recent results, and home advantage will decide who the underdogs are.

Yesterday on Radio Lancs there seemed to be a split in frequencies with Rovers, Burnley & Stanley on one frequency which would suggest the East of the County with Blackpool, PNE & Morecambe on another frequencey.

Not sure if the cuts with the Beeb will affect commentaries and updates?

Well done to the Cod Army on promotion to the FL. Although it was the hard way to do it. 7 northwest teams now in the FL - no doubt pushing us down to 7th with Aunty Beeb. Who cares, I don't, I have sneaky feeling next year might be a good one for us if Cooky and Leam can assemble the team they want.

It matters to the people who listen to the station and support Accrington Stanley.:) I noticed that when Morecambe won promotion to the league(was it 4 years ago?)the following season their match reports and other features were always mentioned before ours, and i reckon it's still the same. Accrington is famous because of Accy Stanley! Morecambe and Fleetwood are seaside towns that just happen to have a football club. Radio Lancahire might think that both those clubs are as big, maybe even bigger than ours, but the general public out there are familiar with ASFC because of our history. Who's heard of Morecambe or Fleetwood?!

Fleetwood fan here ;). Really looking forward to re-commence the rivalry with your lot. I was around in the late 80's/early 90's when we were big rivals, and still remember that great FA Cup 4th qualifying round tie at your place!!!

Get stocked up with your brown sauce lads!!! :) :) :)

Aye. Welcome Fleetwood. I remember playing them on a foggy Boxing Day at The Crown donkeys years ago! They ran out at the start in an all grey strip and as it got foggier late in the first half they began to "disappear!" into the murk. The game would have been abandoned but for them borrowing our away kit at half time which was all yellow,,, I seem to remember. I think we drew one all. Any body else recall the game? I think Lee Rogerson was playing for us so some of the yellow kits ended up with blood stains on them!!!!
