End of Season Awards Night
 

Just a few updates on the End of Season Awards Night

Which will take place in the Lounge starting around 7.30pm on Saturday 05th May there will be no admission charge but we would appreciate any support with possibly raffle prizes or just buying some raffle tickets on the Evening.

Management & Players will be present

Among the Awards will be
Player of the Year
Young Player of the Year
Accy Web Player of the Year which can still be voted on via AccyMad's thread

As well as other Awards to be announced on the run up to the Evening

Voting for the Player of the Year & Young Player of the Year will take place before this Saturday's home game against Shrewsbury with a short list from which to make your choices.

Anyone who would like to vote but can't make the game especially Stanley fans around the World if you pm me we will try to sort something out.

As more things happen on the build up to the night I will update this thread:)

Whats it consist of this year pendle? Last year was the most cringeworthy end of awards ive seen. Left after an hour. Cant fault the effort but just wondering this time?

Always a difficult one to get everything right what I have noticed this year is a lot of Clubs are charging big money for there Awards Evenings which then includes a sit down meal

I think much better that management, players, staff and fans can mingle in relatively relaxed circumstances and enjoy the End of Season as a celebration without the need for parting with big bucks?

I presume you were refering to the Stanley has Got Talent Theme from last year which I think in it's context was a good bit of fun and produced some surprising voices with some great comments from our distinguished panel of Judges.

We are always open to ideas if it's just straight forward Awards and then normal Disco/Karaoke no bother from me the Evening then tends to run itself.

Just a quick update we have some auction lots for Tonight

A signed Stanley Teamsheet signed by non other than Sir Alex Ferguson

So bring your wallets/purses and remember every penny raised goes back in to helping us to put events on like this as well as spreading the word about Stanley:)

Apparently both Rommy and Danny Ventre were over for the game on Saturday. Nice to see them, who knows we may see more of them next season if the rumours are to be believed!! Lol
