Shrewsbury match - car parking arrangements
Due to the the large amount of spectators expected at this weekend's game, special parking arrangements for supporters have been made with Accrington Academy.

The address is Queens Road West Accrington BB5 4BA. The area will be stewarded and a charge made of £3 per vehicle

The ground can be accessed via the Orange Street pedestrian access which is only a 5 minute walk to the stadium.

We ask supporters of both clubs to make use of this facility as the stadium is in a residential area.

Is the Whinney Hill stand normally available as an option for home fans or do people just drift in to there from the Clayton End ?. If it's not normally an option to buy tickets for there's no need to make an announcement.

Mab, they only have half the Whinney Hill as they only have 300 odd seats. There is the same amount on t'other side, I believe, for Stanley supporters. Half way line is the demarkation zone to seperate supporters i.e. a big metal gate that is kept locked, except for emergencies and is stewarded throughout the match

Hi, Salop fan here. Looks like we're on course to shift all 2,000 if that helps with the guessing. Looking forward to coming up to your place again. Last time I came we were 2-0 down after 5 minutes and we were getting lashed with hailstones on the terrace so it can only get better...hopefully!!
