Would be gutted if Deano & Mcintyre went.

As for Craney, I would give Dale fans 60 minutes and they would start to get annoyed with the pieman ;)

Sorry but did anyone else burst out laughing at the use of the word 'combative' in describing Craney?! I think that journo has watched the wrong player!! Only thing combative about Craney is the fight he faces every week just to fit in his XXL kit!!

Agreed. It would be a killer blow to lose both Deano and Kevin.

Wierd. Presumably JC has a substantially bigger budget than he had with us, but appears to be content with reassembling in a different shirt the side who had at best an outside chance of the playoffs last season, even if injuries hadn't struck when they did. And Cav - struggling (imho) to play at League 2 standards when he left 3 (?) years ago, so now after so long back in non-league???

Time to amend my sig I think :)

Intending no disrespect to anyone, just have a look at the players who that nice Mr Evans has signed up for Rotherham ...... Nardiello, Hunt, Sharps, Odejayi and Shearer (the ex Crawley GK) among them.......I know they're mostly 29 - 31 years old, but they can still do it (shades of Bryan Hughes and Danny Coid).

Coley, on the other hand, is re-signing players who, in several cases, went higher up the League and didn't break any pots at their new clubs or who went lower down the Leagues and are coming back to their 'starting level' for which they may not truthfully be equipped. He only needs to sign Jimmy Ryan and Andy Proctor and he's just about got his old team back ............:o That's not a Brave New World!

And he has signed one who bet against his own team whilst he was the manager.

Re: Winnard, McIntyre and Craney to Rochdale?

he's trying to surround himself with decent players who subscribe to his management style. If the players buy into his ethic then team spirit and a touch of talent will go a long way.

In fairness he's only after the better players who have left here (and one or two of the better present players). If he could take half a dozen of his Stanley play off heroes and add those to his present better players then he shouldn't be too far away.

They'll finish behind us though

Aye, whatever happened to that "Internal investigation" we were promised at the time? Surely it can't have been too embarrassing to be made public, can it???

Conley definately doesn't change his mind about the players he likes, Franny Jeffers has just tweeted that Rochdale are in for him. Seem to remember him nearly signing for us until he got a bigger money offer abroad.

It's starting to look like Rochdale could be challenging very hard for a middle-of-the-table spot.
